Description
The
self-regulating heating elements increase their heat output when pipe
temperatures fall and decrease their heat output when pipe temperatures rise.
The heaters will maintain pipe temperatures up to 250°F (120°C) and will
withstand 150 psig saturated steam purging, 366°F (185°C). To help protect
against impact and mechanical abuse, the heating element is available with
either a 100% tinned copper or 100% stainless steel overshield. Factory Mutual
approved for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups S, C, and D; Class II, Division
2, Group G; Class III, Division 2 areas. It is rated for 13 per NEC and meets or
exceeds requirements of IEEE 515 Electrical Resistance Heat Tracing
Specifications.
